Our family used to drive from Peterborough, NH to have lobster at your pound.....every year until we moved to Michigan in 1955. I keep hoping to make it back to enjoy it again.

Awesome dinner on a recent visit from the San Diego area! Have your two guys by the lobster tank started to bar-b-q the lobsters yet? Steam the lobster, cut in half with the shell on and throw it on the barbie. We'll be back! :-)

I remember back in the late 70's when there was this really great bar tender there. He made up all these great drinks over in "Bill's room". He was good at keeping good old Don's company even when the pound master would doze off on a regular basis. And oh by the way, that bar tender is.....ME! Think abuout you guys often, especially since Ken has been up there. With any luck I will see you all this October. Planning for a visit to UNH. And hopfully we will get to chase down some dinner dashers in one of the local clubs!!
Love you guys, Tim :D

I think about 20 years ago, I installed a POS system for Fisher Restaurant Systems at The Pound. On my arrival, I was immediately treated to a four pound lobster and all the Jack and Ginger I wanted. Then I hot tubbed at your friend's motel where I stayed. It was quite a difficult night after going to my room, as I was not used to the combination of such rich substances. Fortunately, I was able to (barely) finish my work the next day and will always remember the Ogunquit Lobster Pound as the best lobster I ever had.

Drive over from Concord for dinner often. It is the only place I will eat lobster anymore. Great steamers too! Such a treat. Had a great dinner last night.

Hi,
I can not eat lobster. The texture does not agree with me. But a few years ago, we stopped at the pound and I ordered a lazy man's casserole. I am wondering if it is possible to get that recipe. It's the only lobster I could eat! my husband is now a lobsterman, so it's a shame not being able to eat it
Thanks for you help!

The lobster is the main attraction of course, but I love the outdoor cooking and dining. It totally enhances the experience. That, together with the tang of the salt air, makes for a perfect Maine day.
I usually only get up to you guys once a season, and I look forward to it all year long.
Glad you are still in business and hope you remain so for the next generation to come.

My son and I had dinner at your place last week. We shared a 4lb He's holding the claw. Look at the kid in the back ground. Would be a great ad. Dave B.
